New Managing Director and Speaker of the Management Board of Freudenberg Nonwovens
As of the 17th of February 2003, Mr. Thomas Kehl is the new Managing Director and Speaker of the Management Board of Freudenberg Nonwovens.
Mr. Kehl studied business administration at the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz, majoring in marketing and corporate management. As well as being in various positions in the New Products/ Nonwovens and Technical Threads and Yarns divisions of Hoechst AG, he was Sales and Marketing Manager for Hoechst Celanese in South Carolina for 5 years. From 1998 on, he was Vice President / General Manager of KoSa, with global responsibility for Nonwovens/Technical Fibers, Technical Filaments and Tire Cord.
Other members of the Board of Freudenberg Nonwovens are Dr. Christoph Josefiak, who takes over full responsibility for Production, Quality and Research and Development Divisions, and Mr. Walter Schwarz, who will now take over the function of Chief Financial Officer & Controller within the Management Board. Mr. Schwarz will also retain regional responsibility for America. All Board members will share responsibilities for various regions and divisions in addition to their normal duties.
Mr. Ludger Neuwinger-Heimes, Chief Financial Officer of the Freudenberg Nonwovens until the end of 2002, has joined FNGP, a joint Freudenberg and NOK enterprise in Plymouth, USA, where he takes over the Commercial Managing Directorship as CFO.
