Freudenberg Vliesstoffe KG invests in the wet-laid nonwovens facility in Neuenburg
Freudenberg Vliesstoffe KG will upgrade the existing wet-laid nonwovens facility at the Neuenburg site in the south of Baden and will invest funds in the amount of Euro 7 million in this upgrade.
In the run-up to the investment decision, the company made a site agreement with the employee representatives which provides for a safeguarding of the existing jobs. The staff among other things agreed to an extension of the weekly working hours to 40 hours without compensatory wage increases.
