Bruce Olson joins Freudenberg Nonwovens as new Chairman
Mr. Bruce Olson has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Management of Freudenberg Nonwovens with effect from June 1, 2007.
Bruce Olson moved to Freudenberg from Rockwood Specialties Group, where he held the position of Senior Vice President. Prior to joining Rockwood, he held Management Board positions with two subgroup companies at Bayer AG. He also has many years experience in various senior management positions at Air Products and Chemicals. Bruce Olson holds a degree in Biology and a Masters degree in Business Administration.
Mr. George Cartwright, who was been Interim Chairman of the Management Board of Freudenberg Nonwovens since February 2007 will step down from the Management Board effective July 31, 2007.
As of August 1, 2007 the Management Board of Freudenberg Nonwovens will consist of Bruce Olson, Dr. René Wollert and Georg Brasch..
