micronAir presents its new website

Comprehensive array of information on the internet for automotive cabin air filters from the market leader Freudenberg Nonwovens

Weinheim, 10 April 2006 – The new website of micronAir (www.micronair.de) provides swift access to all you need to know about the subject of automotive cabin air filters. From the automotive industry, the trade and the workshops, all the way through to end-users and journalists – everyone can find precisely the information they need in the various sections at the click of a mouse. The website’s new look and feel has been harmonised with the new visual image of the market’s leading automotive component supplier for filter media, and expresses the companies user-driven focus.

The right information for each inquirer
"We’ve tailored micronAir’s new website to the requirements of the individual target groups involved. And taken care to ensure that everyone can find the information he or she needs as directly and conveniently as possible", says Martin Berger of Freudenberg Nonwovens, who’s responsible for the new website. With target-group-responsive user prompting, visitors quickly find their way around the site, and can access not only the latest news, but also more in-depth informational and service material.

Filter replacement made easy
On the homepage, visitors can already utilise a search function to call up the right cabin air filter for their car, including a picture and the installation instructions. With around 300 different filter models for 700 types of vehicle, the market leader micronAir possesses the world’s largest product range of cabin air filters in OEM quality, now available online as well. The new catalogue can also be downloaded. End-users can, moreover, find out more about the individual products involved, like particle filters and combi-filters, and find answers to the most important questions relating to safety and health protection using automotive cabin air filters. And by entering their details in the memo service, they can have themselves automatically reminded when it’s time for their filters to be replaced. This is important, because only a properly functional filter can provide optimum protection for drivers against particles and odors. And finding a workshop near your home that will handle the installation is no problem at all on the micronAir homepage.

Service support for the industry and the workshops
The partners from the automotive industry receive extensive information on Freudenberg Nonwovens/micronAir and new additions to the product portfolio, like the micronair proline innovation platform. The trade and the workshops are able to access a comprehensive information tool with sales-supporting materials, advertising aids, graphics and trade fair dates. Moreover, they are provided with an overview of the multifaceted aftermarket services available, like training courses or the Support Hotline.

New press portal for journalists
With the expanded online press portal, micronAir is as of now offering journalists an option for finding what they want to know about the company and its filter portfolio even more efficiently. Besides press releases in several different languages, the press section also provides background reports, dates of trade fairs and other events, publications and studies, plus an extensive image database with high-resolution photos and graphics available for downloading.

Updating and continuity
micronAir’s commitment to quality extends to the internet as well. "We comprehend the web project as a continuous process", explains Martin Berger. "For example, we’re planning additional customer-specific services, to ensure maximised responsiveness to the perceived needs of our customers and partners. With the new micronAir website, we’re providing an information and service platform for everyone."
