2nd edition of the “Green Check-Up” by Fiat Group Automobiles
April, 2010: From 22nd April until 30th June 2010 the Italian after sales organization of Fiat, Lancia and Alfa Romeo is offering the free-of-charge »Green Check-Up« service program, exclusively for Fiat Group Automobiles vehicles in Italy. The cabin air filter, provided by Fiat’s air quality partner Freudenberg Filtration Technologies, as well as the corresponding benefit of improved air quality for the passengers in the car, are particularly under focus during this 2nd edition of »Green Check-up«.
On 22nd April we globally celebrate the so called »Earth Day«. Since 1970 this remembrance day is building awareness on ecological topics - an extraordinary day celebrated in 175 countries around the world and in same way also by Fiat Group confirming the strong attention to environmental protection and sustainable mobility.
Launched today for the second time, the »Green Check-Up« is a service program that is »ecological and economical«, completing the seasonal programs »Winter Check-Up« and »Summer Check-Up«. In detail the »Green Check-Up« comprises five specific checks on the relevant components which could influence emissions: cabin air filter, sparkplugs, gas exhaust emissions, engine air filter and system, tires. Additionally, car owners have two additional advantages: a discount of 20% in case the cabin air filter has to be replaced and a free gift of a car interior hygiene product when an air-conditioning cleaning procedure with Tunap Contrasept is conducted. Furthermore car owners can participate at the "Controlla e Vinci" (check and win) competition and have the chance to win a Fiat Panda 1.2 GPL (prize draw on 15th September 2010). »Green Check-Up« campaign partner Freudenberg Filtration Technologies has a long and trusted partnership with FIAT by supplying the entire cabin air filter range for the European aftermarket business to the FIAT Group.
